Rumpsti Pumsti (Musik) präsentiert: VOMIR / KERÄNEN / LETTERA 22
French artist Vomir (Romain Perrot) is one of the main protagonists of the contemporary Harsh Noise subculture. His seclusive walls of noise offer no dynamics, no change, no development, just pure and unrelenting streams of sound. Crushing, crusting, crackling. His live performances are acousmatic studies of emptiness.
Finnish artist Tommi Keränen has been active in the field of experimental music since the late 1990′s. Over the last few years his primary interests have been harsh noise, improvisation and computer music. He performs solo as well in groups Testicle Hazard (with Lasse Marhaug) and Gentle Evil (with Janne Tuomi), and has collaborated with artists such as Incapacitants,Pain Jerk and Dror Feiler.
Lettera 22 is the duo of Matteo Castro and Riccardo Mazza, two men on the forefront of the flourishing Italian noise & experimental scene. Their sound is a sordid collage of desolate audio, repurposed and destroyed. Struggling textures and dynamics, abusive tension, urban scrap, leavingbehind a skeleton of seething silence and tape hiss.
