SOLO Rav Slavin Followed by the DUO **Ran Slavin feat. Arik Hayut. **electronica and experimental guitar & video.

Aritape is an Israelian composer, drummer, percussionist and builder of custom instruments living in Berlin. He is working in theatre music and various band and multimedia contexts.

Ran Slavin is a Tel Aviv based video artist, director and electronic artist.
His work oscillates from video installation to film, from sound productions to video-sound performances that blur the lines between visuals and sound. His work has been presented at Ars Electronica, Venice Biennale, Transmediale and international film festivals. Having releases with Sub Rosa, Mille Plateaux, Cronica.

In his live work he synthesizes a visual-sonic process, treating video as a media for transformation. in real time. Layers of fragmentized video, texts and meanings turn into light and generate sound.  Stressing the concept of interference as an element that both absorbs and rejects the world’s signals. Transforming in real time, bursts of fragmentized video streams, texts and meanings into light and sound in motion. Motion, duration and illumination come into play, in an image – sound transformative structure breakdown. Accidental esthetics and the music of chance in fluid temporality, nowness, interactivity. The speed of changing images creates real time soundscapes. A fragmentized contemporary sensibility emerges, at once absorbing and broadcasting, vague and haunting.
