PURE has been making uncompromising electronic music since 1992. On stage he sculpts abstract sonic stories from evolving textures, pulsating repetitions and dynamic breaks using both hard- and software that equally affect the listener’s brains and bodies.
He has over 30 physical and digital releases on labels such as Editions Mego as BOLDER (with Martin Maischein), PURE and ILSA GOLD, on Hinterzimmer with his electronic percussion duo PRSZR (with Rafal Iwanski), on CrĂłnica, Praxis, Staalplaat, Drop Bass Network and many more.
He developed the HEART CHAMBER ORCHESTRA together with Erich Berger; an award-winning audio-visual realtime composition for 12 musicians in which the heartbeats of the musicians create a score in realtime.
His early-90ies Rave prank-duo ILSA GOLD (together with Christopher Just) was the first internationally acknowledged Austrian techno act and is still occasionally active.
His current berlin-related activities include “Slowlands” – a monthly whisky-only bar night – and the world’s first Whisky & Doom Metal tasting series “Taste The Doom” (with Lars Lundehave Hansen).
He holds a Master degree in Computer Music from the University of Plymouth (UK).

Marion Wörle/Frau W is a computer musician and grafic designer living in Berlin. She plays solo and co-founded the ensemble gamut inc for self-built computer-driven music machines. Besides that she writes music for film and her own audio-visual stage plays (GHOST TAPE XI/2013, ONE MORE PIONEER/2015). The mode of play and approach are continually informed by discovering new rudiments and current methods of articulation. Her approach is non-dogmatic, minimal and not confined to any one genre but with passion for low frequencies, dark electronic tunes and slow movements of dense harmonies.
