The H.A.K. collective is represented by the co-founder Denis Mc Carty and Anton Mobin.
In Berlin, Rinus Van Alebeek is associated to the project organization.
They propose two live acts specially imagined for a live & direct radio event.

GRAND FOUTOIR #5

Grand Foutoir : this french appelation could be translate by The Big Disturbance !
Grand Foutoir is a game of improvisation pulled in dices.
It takes part with the regular events organize by the H.A.K. collective in France.
Already done 4 Grands Foutoirs in Orléans : at the galleries Lumen and Wall, and one under the big top of the TSRT circus.
For The fifth edition, le Grand Foutoir settles down in Staalplaat Working Space, with the delicious invitation of Rinus Van Alebeek.

-Method :
Several musicians and sound artists would be present in NK, at Elsenstr 52 in the Neukölln area.
Every musician is autonomous with his device. Everyone of them are instal and ready to play.
Around the musicians, the master of ceremonies acts as a referee.
This referee pull with two dices the set list and the sound combinations of the concert.
-Dice number 1 : is to determinate how musicians will play
(The name of the artists is pull out a magic hat, according to the result of dice N°1)
-Dice number 2 : is to determinate how many minute they will play
The experiment will go on !

Basic rules & technical aspects
Everyone must be autonomous with his device.
Around 3 pm : sound checking and basic material searching (like chair, tables, beers, etc.)
At 4 pm everybody are instal and ready to play.
For technical reasons (latency) i propose to make a rider before the beginning of the game,
and we could pull the 3 firsts improvisations for the audience, and check our rider for the next.
Important, if we haven’t a person for playing the referee, we shall owe found an alternative (for the good progress of the game)
Others, stuffs:
Something as a board to write the combinations, names and duration.
Think about a sound signal for marking start of new improvisation and end of the other.

-Each live must be around 20 minutes to do 6 different concerts

Solo Radio Sets by the present artists :
As a short wave odyssee, each artist will be obliged to use radio as a part of their set up.
So it would all be improvisations with/around radio materials.
Live acts are spaced out by special H.A.K. programs………..
LOST FREQUENCIES
Keep my radio alive
Composed by Denis Mc Carty and Anton Mobin, using their own radio materials and those by Ayato, Lost Frequencies is a sound project including only radio recordings and manipulations.
As a post-tribute because of the death announced and begun by the frequencies FM towards the passage in the digital technology…

This composition was realized by DMC & Anton Mobin in a network alternation.
One of both compose a sound excerpt around 1-2 minutes and send his fragment for the following.
