Arduino Feedback with Nicolas Collins & Sukandar Kartadinata

A two-day workshop in the use of feedback systems between embedded controllers (such as the Arduino) and the real world: twitching motors with fruit, shaking paint with light, making a synth ribbon-controller out of old videotape.

Day 1: basic sensor techniques (light, pressure, skin conductivity, fruit ripeness, drawn pencil lines and old videotape will be used to control the pitch of a simple oscillator on a breadboard); introduction to input and output programming on the Arduino; essential Arduino software routines for feedback applications.

Day 2: experimenting with applications of the hardware and software modules from Day 1; guidance on individual projects.

Participants must bring:
Laptop with Arduino development software.
An Arduino.
Optional: soldering iron, hand tools, and a loudspeaker of some sort and/or a pair of headphones

This workshop assumes a basic familiarity with Arduino programming, but no advanced electronic skill is required.

Workshop will be in German and English.

Dates: March 22 & 23
Time: 13:00-19:00

Number of participants: 5-15

Registration required Please send an email to info@nkprojekt.de with the subj line Arduino Workshop
